Mechanical effects is probably our broadest catch all category, with nothing coming as standard and everything being designed and built in our workshops especially for the project. How often are we going to be asked for somebody to walk on water in a boiling swimming pool.? Not forgetting all the equipment needed for an exploding sewer pipe that’s consigned to the archives, never to see the light of day again. However, diverse effects are often based on similar principles, for which we maintain a large amount of standard equipment. For example, quick release rigs for dropping heavy loads such as floor or ceiling joists or tip tanks for cascading water effects.
