Quicksilver are based in Manchester at the heart of the North West’s TV and film industry Quicksilver have been creating stunning effects safely since 1994 on a wide range of productions, including Life on Mars (BBC) , Cutting It (BBC) 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Ch4)Coronation Street, Brassic (Now TV) Hollyoaks (Ch4), The Worst Witch (cbbc) , Inside No 9 (BBC) The Red King (Now TV), After the Flood (ITV), Passenger (ITV), Taylor Swift Music Video.
Saftey Regs
Much of the work we do involves the use of pyrotechnics, explosives and other hazardous materials. Quicksilver are members of the CBI Explosive Industry Group and hold all the necessary licences to acquire, store transport and use pyrotechnics, explosives and other dangerous goods.
We currently carry out training, consultancy and storage/disposal of pyrotechnics, fireworks & explosives for a number of UK Police forces and Fire Services, including input on courses at the National Fire Service College (Moreton in Marsh).
